If you’re worried about the security and well being of your computer or laptop (as well you should be), then I recommend you save money and instead of taking it to a San Antonio Best Buy or a Geek or Nerd computer store, just download the best computer software for preventing malware, viruses, spyware straight to your computer. You can buy it from the store, but there’s really no reason to. You can save time and money and get your computer instantly up to date with the latest 2010 computer security software right now.
What I have on my computer is the Norton 360 Version 4.0 – 1 Year Protection. This is pretty much the gold standard, top of the line stuff. They have cheaper versions with less features, but I don’t like to leave my credit card, bank, and personal information to chance. No web security and anti-virus software is full proof but Norton is as good as it gets. This software was released in March, 2010 so you know it’s more up to date than anything else on the market.
I used to try to avoid buying anti-virus software and just get the free computer security software. Two computer crashes later, I’ve realized not to mess around with computer safety and health. Thankfully, I’ve never had any personal or confidential information stolen – at least not that I know of.
If you’re looking for a sale or discount, I’ve found a link that will get you 10% off but it expires in April. If the code is still good, you’ll get 10% off by clicking this link: 10% Off – Norton Internet Security 2010 Coupon – Code: 10NIS2010 – Exp. 4/30
I know a lot of people that think they need to find a San Antonio computer geek or San Antonio computer repair shop to install anti virus software for them on their computer. You really don’t. You’re just paying an extra $50 or $100 for markup on something you can install and run yourself. If you need any email service or email help for free, just let me know.
I think that you need to do a LOT more research into your AV software before you suggest Norton in any flavor. Norton was great 10 years ago, but now it’s a very heavy application and is seriously bloated, slow, and intrusive to a serious fault.
ESET NOD32 is a much MUCH better app. Lightweight, fast, and isn’t intrusive like Norton is.
Research it. I shouldn’t need to sell you on it once you do.
Thanks a lot Chris. I’m going to look into that. I read a lot of reviews and almost everyone recommended Norton so that’s what I relayed. Didn’t see ESET but I’m going to give it a trial.
Thanks again.
