The beauty of it all is the toolbar is 1) free and 2) fights spyware. Spyware is basically stuff that watches your activity on the computer and on top of that slows down your computer because your processes are being used up. You can download the The New Yahoo! Toolbar – More customizable than ever.
What’s also cool is the Yahoo Toolbar includes news, weather, stock quotes, and other stuff you may want to customize. There is also a pop up blocker that can help keep out any pop ups. A Download.CNET.com test showed that the Yahoo Anti-Spy spware scanner works just as well as scanners you pay for. The Yahoo spyware scanner is pretty quick and then turns up results for any adware or spyware found.

I highly recommend you give this one a try and at least see if your computer speeds up. My computer definitely feels like it’s running a little faster. My Yahoo toolbar review is 4.5 out of 5 stars. I added the ebay app, yahoo movie reviews app, and stock market app and it’s really nice to have these right there just a click away.
The ebay app keeps you up to date on any auctions you’re bidding on or watching. The yahoo movies is just a quick way of seeing movie times or what reviews for some of the latest releases are. The stock app just helps you keep track of any stocks you own or might want to buy. There are some other cool add-ons I haven’t tried yet.
