A San Antonio Christmas
This year South Texas may have a little more winter weather than we’re accustomed to. Finally! A Christmas that isn’t complemented with 72 degree weather. Last night, reports of snow and sleet were reported and verified. The hope here is more cold weather is on its way. San Antonio isn’t cold for that many days a year, but it helps us all feel the holiday season a little bit more if we have to put on the jackets we so covet wearing. The only downside is you must beware of drivers as many are unfamiliar that you need to use much more caution on icey roads. Make sure and get your shopping down expeditiously.

Spurs Continue Winning Ways
They started off the season slow, but now with Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker back, the Spurs are starting to look like contenders again. The past champs have recently regained their form, crushing the Denver Nuggets and Golden State Warriors in back to back games. The San Antonio tourism industry is certainly hoping the Spurs can continue the trend all the way into the NBA Finals. Although much of the income derived heads to the Spurs, some money does fall into laps of hotels, restaurants, and shopping centers. Its a brief stay, but certainly does help bolster the San Antonio economy – even if business owners are the only ones to feel direct impact.
